OUR STORY
it started with a simple idea: a place to play with a one-year old child. our founder, Amy, was a preschool teacher who became a work-from-home mom. because her son was not enrolled in any early care or education program, she wanted a place where he could play with other kiddos his age and a place for her to meet other moms. she explored the Dayton area for ideas: going to a children's museum, visiting the zoo, drop-in hours at a gym. but everything came at a cost: entrance fees, memberships, limited hours to explore. so she put on her thinking cap. she reached out to the University of Dayton and asked for interns to help. Julia, Kylie, and Anna helped gather resources, activity ideas, and search for a location to play. and thus, an idea from "just a mom" became something much bigger:
a free place for infants/toddlers (the I and T from our name) to play. |
